3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the FineShield service; monitor building violations from NYC agencies on your behalf; deliver push notifications about new violations, hearing reminders, and status changes; generate AI-powered violation analysis and dispute letters; process subscription payments through Apple's App Store; improve and optimize our app and services; and communicate with you about your account.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All communications between the app and our servers use HTTPS encryption. Authentication is handled via secure JWT tokens. We support Sign in with Apple for enhanced security. We do not store credit card information — all payments are processed by Apple.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: service providers who assist in operating our app (hosting, analytics); AI providers for violation analysis processing; law enforcement if required by law; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
